Inaccessible, bureaucratic, unfriendly and expensive. I used to live in Nieuwegein, where it went like this: drive by without an appointment, the barrier opens automatically, friendly guys who show you the right place, throw things away and you're done. Here in Veenendaal you have to register your visit via the website, you must have a waste pass with sufficient points, then you have to take the correct approach route (which runs along a cycle path, without clear indication of where to turn off the road) and you will be addressed in an unfriendly manner. . You are not registered... I explain that it was very unclear on the site, so I decided on chance (I just moved here). You can't really see on the site whether you are registering for Ede, Veenendaal or Rhenen, and apparently there are differences. Then you are sent away by a boy with a cigarette. He consistently addresses me as 'man'. There is no one else to bring waste, it is extinct. In addition, it is expensive. You only have 6 points per year on your card. If you get through that, you have to pay 10 euros per freight. There is also disagreement about the waste that you can dump for free. The barrier will not open, because then you will appear to be standing in front of the wrong person. Apparently this is how they separate the paid and free flows, but apparently it doesn't get through if you register it in advance as free. The waste policy in Veenendaal seems more like a discouragement policy. Because picking it up at home will cost you no less than 3 points on the pass, if you use up the points you pay 30 euros, and then they will only come and collect your junk after a month. I have already driven back to Nieuwegein a few times with my junk. That shouldn't be the case.

Been a few times last year with the reservation system. That works great. Brought some garden wood again today, June 7, 2023. A friendly gentleman from acv warned me about the nails in the wood. I didn't have any gloves with me, I forgot. Then the gentleman gave me a pair of gloves. Super friendly and a very nice gesture. I was allowed to keep them, but I gave them back to thank him again. Scammers do not keep appointments and unnecessarily incur costs. Customer service does not respond or does not respond completely and works very unprofessionally. They also do work that is not part of their work at the expense of the residents of Ede.

You have to sign up/register etc. in triplicate yourself. And I have no idea what they did with my points. How much did I have and how much did they take off? while I get the feeling that I should be monitored by having to report so often. This says a lot about the system. The people are nice.
